In a sense, the entire Watchman Monitoring system is merely an educational tool. The Watchman Client finds out about a problem, informs its Watchman Server, and the server sends an message to its subscriber, “educating” the Subscriber that there is a computer with a problem.
But what if a Subscriber wants to be educated about computers at a school? While 1500 licenses per subscription will certainly be enough to cover the needs of most consultants, those seats can be eaten up in a hurry when dealing with a mass-deployment of Watchman Clients in a K-12 school environment.
So, as you edit your ClientGroup.txt file and place your Watchman Client installer package as a post-restore action, let us know and we’ll extend your license at a 10-1 ratio for your K-12 educational deployment.
ie Installing the Watchman Client on 500 school computers will count as 50 seats.
With our stringent privacy policy, we can’t see that these seats are used in education, so go ahead and deploy and shoot us an email letting us know what’s going on, and we’ll adjust your account manually.
