Power On Self-Test:
Last Run: 6/30/11 7:38 AM
Result: Failed
Failure type: Memory
Memory slot: DIMM 2/DIMM Riser A
So, we’ll be giving them a call this morning, letting them know we can have someone on their way with a replacement.
We also see in our report that the failed chip is a 1GB DIMM in an original Mac Pro, and that there are still 4 empty slots on the computer. With RAM so cheap, perhaps they’ll be interested in filling in the rest of those empty slots while we’re at it?
Having Watchman Monitoring just saved this video team a lot of headache & wondering why something wasn’t “just right” with their computer today.
It also makes us look good, being able to perform good work, when it’s needed.
