The Daylite Server Plugin has always been able to monitor the status of Daylite Server Backups, if configured.
Starting version 5.1 the plugin will assume the default settings, and send an alert if it does not appear to be correct. Use the PreferencePane to adjust the backup paths as needed. More details here: http://wtch.mn/daylite-server
