Mac Client 7.1.1.132 – Improvements for Daylite, Time Machine, and Carbon Copy Cloner

Watchman Monitoring is happy to announce release of agent 7.1.1.132 for macOS. This release includes support for Daylite version 2022 and greater, improvements in reporting Time Machine status, along with additional Carbon Copy Cloner fixes. This release also includes macOS update reporting to reflect Apple RSR versioning from Mac agent 7.1.1.117. Watchman Monitoring has been tested with macOS 14 Sonoma. Kandji The third-party plugin which reports some Kandji-related information is no longer available for distribution, and is no longer included.

Mac Client 7.1.1.111 – Improvements for CrashPlan, Backblaze, and Apple Silicon

Watchman Monitoring is happy to announce release of agent 7.1.1.111 for macOS. This release includes support for CrashPlan 11, improvements in reporting processor and RAM information for computers with Apple silicon processors, along with additional Backblaze fixes and features. Features Adds support for CrashPlan Client 11. Backblaze plugin now reports full disk access status, remaining and total backup stats. Adds a PreferencePane option to adjust days before the Backblaze warns of errors. Adds support for newer versions of ConnectWise Control agent installs. Changes Improves reporting Apple Silicon RAM and Processor names. CrashPlan subscription expirations now report as Current, unless they are failing No longer reports virtual RAM modules when the agent is running in VM. Fixes Fixes an issue where a verified disk may prevent the reporting of a disk with a failing SMART status. Corrects an issue which could report outdated Carbon Copy Cloner information. Mac Client 7.1.0.144 – Improvements for Backblaze, Apple Silicon, & Root Capacity reporting

Watchman Monitoring is happy to announce release of agent 7.1.0.144 for macOS. This release includes improvements for reporting the Apple Product Description for computers using Apple silicon. Backblaze reporting is improved, as well as the tracking of Apple’s “Purgeable Space” when no user is logged in. This release also fixes an issue with a group installer package when a single quote ‘ was in the group name. This release includes fixes for monitoring Carbon Copy Cloner, CrashPlan Client, and addresses issues launching applications via the Contact Menu. Fixes CrashPlan Plugin results should no longer omit the contact information (Org and Name) Issues stemming from regional date/time issues are addressed in Carbon Copy Cloner The Contact Menu will more reliably launch TeamViewer application variants. Mac Client 7.1 – Support for Ventura, CCC 6, and an updated Contact Menu

Watchman Monitoring is happy to announce its agent 7.1 for macOS. This release includes macOS Ventura (13) compatibility, Carbon Copy Cloner v6 reporting, and updates to the Contact Menu. Features Support for Carbon Copy Cloner v6 Fully universal agent which no longer requires Rosetta 2 Changes Installation on macOS require version 10.13 or greater. Existing agents on computers running 10.11 or 10.12 may continue to report, but will no longer receive updates. Contact menu changes. See Watchman Monitoring’s Contact Menu for more. Watchman Monitoring support for macOS Ventura, deprecation of some older OS

Support to be added for macOS Ventura, additional noteworthy accompanying Agent Updates. Ventura Support Upon release of Watchman Monitoring’s Mac agent version 7.1, confirms support for macOS 13 (Ventura) and fully removes reliance on Rosetta 2. The release is planned for shipment prior to the final release of macOS Ventura. Changes to the Contact Menu With the forthcoming release, the Contact Menu will no longer support launching Applications “by name.” Contact menu items using “by name” should be changed to use the bundle ID or URL, see here for more information. Deprecation of Mac OS X 10.11 and macOS 10.12 In the future, installation packages will require macOS 10.13 High Sierra. Computers which are running Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan and macOS 10.12 Sierra will continue to report, however they will not receive updates and new installations will not be supported. Removal of agents which do not support TLS 1.2 The previously announced for remote-removal of the agent on computers running either Windows XP or OS X 10.10 and lower will begin at the end of September 2022.
