MacTech Pro events are a spectacular way for any Professional Apple Tech to fill their toolbox. Each event is just one day, so the Pro event fits well into many travel calendars. This year is a spectacular line up that we encourage you to attend. We also enjoy the evening gatherings which typically happen each Tuesday & Wednesday evening near MacTech events. The first MacTech Pro of 2020 will be held in Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas.
Objective By The Sea is the first of the multi-day conferences for 2020. If you have security concerns for Apple’s platforms, this is the conference for you. (Besides, Maui in March! 🏝️).
MacAd.uk is an intense an multi-day conferences for all European Mac Administrators. Any Mac Admin able to get to London is highly encouraged to attend.
Aces Conf is holding its sixth event. This time Apple Consultants from all over will converge and discuss how they are growing their businesses from time and materials or break-fix, adding Proactive Support, and many will end up kicking off their own Managed Service offering.
MacDevOps:YVR held in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada is a packed two days of lightning quick talks mixed with a number of in depth talks for IT professionals from Education, Corporate, and Consulting worlds. Exploring topics beyond the world of system deployment and mass-administration, if you cannot make PSU Mac Admins, you should attend MacDevOps:YVR, but really you should attend both.
PSU Mac Admins is a place for IT professionals from the Education, Corporate, and Consulting arms to join in and see what’s new in the world of system deployment and mass-administration. PSU is lovingly referred to as MacAdmin Summer Camp, and we could not agree more. Come for amazing IT insight, stay for the PSU Creamery!
Events hosted by JAMF, FileWave and Addigy are great venues to get news and instruction right from the horse’s mouth. If you use, or are considering adding, the Casper Suite for your Mac & iOS devices, FileWave’s cross-platform system administration toolbox as part of your IT practice, or Addigy for remote monitoring and remediation, there’s no better place to dive in and even get certified.
This November, MacTech will hold its 11th annual world-class event in Los Angeles, CA. It’s a week long, deep dive into many of the issues which slow down professional Apple techs everywhere.
Adding in local events can help fill in the gaps, and we’re happy to support MacMeetups.com, and the Community Calendar on the MacAdmins Podcast. If you’re looking for a local meetup, check there. Don’t see one? start one! We’re happy to support local meetups as well, reach out to support if you’d like more details.
Whichever event(s) you choose, we’re sure you’ll leave knowing more… more information, and more people. It’s a great way to jump-start your career and re-ignite the drive which behind it all: knowing and helping great people.
